They're claiming a deal has been struck with Lyon for Dembele - £22.5m.

Really??

Either way, they ain’t going to give Brendan that money to spend with 2 days left.

The thing is, Aberdeen can now dig their feet in for their £10m valuation knowing full well Celtc have the money 😂

My sources tell me it's 12.5m with add ons.

No not really ,I'm not into copying what someone said on FF and passing it off as if I have connections .

No danger they are getting more than £10m... Which in itself is too much.

’Undisclosed’ probably.

A few of the French papers saying that he’s agreed terms with Lyon but they still haven’t agreed a fee with Celtc.

They won't spend much if any of that money. They need it to compensate for lack of Champions League money. For us, winning the league this season will really stick a huge knife in their ambitions. Much harder to win real titles than to win phony ones.

Celtc are set to sign former Kilmarnock midfielder Youssouf Mulumbu.

The 31-year-old, who is a free agent, is poised to become the Scottish champions' fifth signing of the summer.

They've gone from McGinn at around £3/4M, to Mulumbu on a free.

Dembele not in the squad tonight, can’t see him being here come Sunday.

Nor is Edouard although he's been injured. They've said he'll be fine for Sunday but even if that was the case you'd think he'd be on the bench.

Supposedly they've rejected a bid for him

They have priced themselves out of selling him for a couple of windows now. He is worth no where near what their delusions are.

Plus his value is only dropping with the longer he spends up here, not playing in the CL and not getting near the national team.

Brenda saying he can't see the Dembele deal being done and he wasn't in the right frame of mind to take part tonight. Must have his heart set on leaving if that's the case

They're certainly creating a whole load of uncomfortable situations for themselves this summer.

Talk is that Celtc have rejected the offer for Dembele and that Dembele has now made it perfectly clear to them that he wants to leave. Window closes tomorrow, so either he goes or they have an unhappy player on their hands. I would think they’ll have a replacement ready though - albeit a loan, but it’s whether they can complete a deal in time.

Tomorrow will tell, but an absolute disaster of a transfer window for them so far.

Dembele sending a couple of mystic tweets last night about keeping promises.

Seen that. They’re an effing shambles just now. Personally I’d rather they punted dembele, he’s a good player and seems to have the  nack of scoring against us but looks like he’s aimed them at Rodgers. Chris Sutton tweeted that it’s aimed at Rodgers and dembeles liked the tweet. If we can somehow win there on Sunday It’ll be the final straw for some of them.

Hopefully the fact that Dembele is pushing to leave will mean that they are forced to accept a much lower fee than they were expecting

Go on to dembele Twitter. And go to likes.

Wow.

Chris Sutton tweeter this and he liked it ;

[email protected] Moussa Dembele clearly calling out Brendan Rodgers... “A man without his word is nothing. A real man keeps his word”....

Also this ...

Don't get it wrong Bhoys and Ghirls nothing to do with people who really care about the club @CelticFC 🤐too much love and respect for you and the crest #CarefulWhoYouCallTheLeaderOfYours https://t.co/3FR1YoJLHr

Mulumbu was being compared to Moravcik signing to try and appease the very underwhelmed stinking hordes last night on the phone in.   If they're signing him it tells you what they think of Ryan Christie, Scott Allan and Lewis Morgan.

Mulumbu is an average signing. He’ll do a job but at who’s expense? They midfielders galore including similar players they’ve paid good money for. Can’t see him featuring anytime soon either until he’s up to speed.

Benkovic is a bit of an unknown. A £13 million signing for Leicester but at 21 he’s relatively untested (like Katic tbf) and so time will tell if he improves their back line sufficiently. In any case, another loan deal for a long term problem.

It appears Dembelle has been made promises which haven’t been kept and that can’t help team morale to see the star man calling either Rogers or Lawwel a liar on Social media. I imagine a few players might also be wondering about promises made to them.
