Probably best that Septic advanced.  This way they will also have some tired players after Thursdays away in Europe.

Apparently Henrikh Mkhitaryan won't be able to play against Qarabag as Azerbaijan have a zero entry for Armenians policy.

See stuff like this winds me up. Teams get fined for fans singing stupid songs, yet Uefa are happy to allow bigoted countries to participate.

No team from Azerbaijan should be allowed to play.

I agree. It is, whisper it, against the sporting integrity of the competition if one team can essentially veto a player to play against them due to the country they are based in.

Then again...

Also, what's the betting that Celtc will get smashed in the group stage, and then there will be an appeal over the two Red Bull teams being in the same group, who will subsequently get thrown out, and Celtc will qualify? 😂

And ironically that's exactly where the final is being held. You can't get more of an endorsement than that.

Rosenborg look a different team from the one Celtc passed easily in the CL qualifying. Could be an interesting game.

The mhank results since they beat Rosenborg

D - Rosenborg (A) 0-0

W - Livi (H) 3-1
D - AEK (H) 1-1

L - Hearts (A) 0-1
L - AEK (A) 1-2

W - Partick (A) 3-1

D - Suduva (A) 1-1

W - Hamilton (H) 1-0

W - Suduva (H) 3-1

W - Rangers (H) 1-0

D - St Mirren (A) 0-0

They're in terrible form rather than Rosenborg being much improved IMO.  Scored 13 in 11, and 6 of them were against Livi and Thistle. Only beating Hamilton by 1 and drawing with St Mirren. They haven't won an away game all season except Alashkert and Thistle.  The only time they've turned up was against us when we were absolutely gubbed after Ufa.

It still stands. They pumped the same Rosenborg 3-1 before.  We have nothing to fear from this mhob.

I don't disagree with you, they have been atrocious tonight.

They might be winning but there is definitely something not right at Celtc just now, Griffiths looked pissed as feck after scoring.

Their severe lack of goals this season must give us a chance. Away to Kilmarnock at the weekend for them, if they drop points again we will go above them.

I honestly think if we can win the next 3 league games they will start to feel the pressure. Beat them in the next Old Firm and it’s time to start getting excited.
